GALLAUDET STM LAB

The $17M project renovated the science labs, academic and public space located on the third and fourth floors of the mid-century Hall Memorial Building (HMB). Initial planning  was completed by HDR Architecture, design by Studio 27 Architecture. 

 

Under Mr. Bauman’s direction state-of-the art chemistry and biology labs were designed by teaching classes in full-scale lab space mock-ups to gain a deeper  understanding of the unique ways deaf and deaf blind students interact within the instructional laboratory setting.
