DIESEL HOUSE 

DIESEL house is a refurbished 1925’s brick row house in Northeast Washington DC. The new interior space allows natural light from above and view “slots” frame specific views of nearby gardens and front porches. Significant historic architectural features were preserved in contrast with the clean geometry and materiality of  new interventions calling forth the building’s history within a warm, visually rich space animated by natural light and unexpected views.
